Dispensary Assistant – Dudley (Dudley/A6)

We are looking for a part time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in one of our branches in the Dudley area.

The hours of work for the position will be 25 hours a week. Exact working pattern will be discussed in the interview.

The role will include:

• Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
• Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
• To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
• To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
• Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience
• Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary
• Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

Salary for all positions is dependent on previous experience.
