Here at Peak Pharmacy Online, we are an accredited UK pharmacy fully registered with the General Pharmaceutical Society. Our skilled team has many years of experience in pharmacy and put the patient at the heart of everything that we do. All prescriptions are prepared by fully trained staff and clinically reviewed and accuracy checked by a fully accredited pharmacist. We believe that increasing patient access to prescription services is the future and feel that offering our customers the opportunity to manage their medicines online is crucial in the modern world. If you require support from our friendly in-house team then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Peak Pharmacy Online is not your local Peak Pharmacy, but we are the same company so you can still expect the same great levels of customer service, and whilst we can only help you over the phone or by email we still always do our best to keep our patients happy! 🙂
Want to know more about the service? Then read on ……..
If you sign up for our online services, you must consent to us receiving your prescriptions electronically from your GP via the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) as your nominated pharmacy. This a secure service that speeds up prescription processing times and improves efficiency. You can find out more about the electronic prescription service at https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/pharmacies/electronic-prescription-service/. Unfortunately, the NHS system only allows you to have one nominated pharmacy so make sure you choose wisely!
To order your prescriptions, you must contact your GP
service directly in the usual way. This is usually by dropping in a repeat
request form, using a designated order line for prescription ordering or using
a GP surgery phone app. Some patients find that using the NHS app is the most
convenient way to reorder medicines. The NHS app is owned and run by the NHS
and is simple and secure. It allows you to order repeat prescriptions, book
appointments with your GP surgery, check your symptoms and view your medical
record. It is available on iOS and Android and is simple to register. You can
find out more about the NHS app here https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/.
Once you have ordered your repeat medicines, it will take between 48-72 hours (not including weekends) for the GP to send them to us via the secure electronic system. When we receive your prescription, we will process it and contact you via email or phone if there are queries. If you usually pay for your NHS prescriptions then we will arrange secure payment over the phone.
Your prescription will be dispensed and undergo multiple checks by trained professionals to ensure safety and accuracy. We will deliver all NHS repeat prescriptions free of charge. Once it has been dispatched to your chosen address then we will send you an email with tracking information. If your medicines fit, then they will be delivered through your letterbox using Royal Mail Tracked 48 large letter service. Larger parcels and controlled drugs will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 as a parcel and may require a signature. Fridge products will be sent via Special Delivery and will need to be signed for.
The whole process will take up to 7 working days, so please ensure you order your medicines in plenty of time and do not hesitate to contact us with any problems on email@example.com
For any queries regarding online prescriptions, to update delivery address or exemption status please use the Contact Us form below and we will get back to you ASAP with a response.
