Emergency contraception, also known as the morning after pill, is available for FREE at your local Peak Pharmacy.
Our friendly pharmacists can offer both Levonelle and EllaOne, the most common emergency hormonal contraception options. You can now access the morning after pill quickly, safely, and confidentially, without needing a GP appointment or prescription.
Emergency contraception is most effective the sooner it’s taken, ideally within 72 hours (Levonelle) or up to 120 hours (EllaOne) after unprotected sex. When you visit a Peak Pharmacy, our trained pharmacists will provide a private consultation to discuss your options and ensure you receive the right support and advice.
If, for any reason, we’re unable to supply the medicine, our pharmacist can refer you to a GP or local sexual health clinic for further help. You can learn more about Emergency Contraception HERE.
