What Is Salt Therapy?

During dry salt therapy, micro-crystalline salt particles are introduced into the air and inhaled naturally. Salt particles may help to loosen mucus and support the normal function of the respiratory system.
With Salin Plus, room air is continuously passed through a specialist filter containing micro-crystalline salt. The device then disperses fine salt particles into the surrounding air, allowing you to experience dry salt therapy in the comfort of your own home.
Salin Plus is intended as a complementary wellbeing product and should be used alongside, rather than instead of, any healthcare or medication recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
How To Use:
- Position the Salin Plus on a stable surface in a dry room.
- When using it overnight, place it approximately 2–3 metres from your bed and direct the airflow towards the room.
- Avoid placing the unit near open windows, external walls, bathrooms or en-suites.
- Connect the power adaptor and switch the device on.
- During the first month, regular use is recommended to allow you to become accustomed to the device.
- For continued use, overnight operation for around 8 hours is recommended.
- Select a comfortable setting using the control dial.
- Replace the salt filter every 4–6 months, depending on use, to maintain performance.
