Well, diarrhoea is the passage of three or more loose or liquid stools per day (or more frequently than is normal for the individual). Other symptoms can be present as well which include cramps, fever, nausea/vomiting and headaches.

Acute diarrhoea should last less than 14 days. Diarrhoea in Adults that lasts longer than 14 days or any Diarrhoea that has blood or pus present should be investigated by a doctor.

Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg and Simeticone equivalent to 125mg Dimeticone.

Other Ingredients: Calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, microcrystalline cellulose, acesulfame potassium, artificial vanilla flavour (includes propylene glycol, maltodextrin and benzyl alcohol), sodium starch glycolate (type A) and stearic acid.

Do not take this medicine IF:

• You have ever had a bad reaction to any of the ingredients.
• It is for a child aged under 12.
• You have severe diarrhoea after taking antibiotics.
• You are having a flare-up of an inflammatory bowel condition like ulcerative colitis.
• You are constipated, or your stomach appears swollen (especially in children with severe dehydration).
• You are constipated or your stomach appears swollen.

This medicine may make you feel dizzy, tired or sleepy. You may feel less alert, feel faint or pass out. If you’re affected do not drive or use machines.

This medicine is available to buy over the counter. You do not need a prescription to buy Imodium Plus Comfort but you will be asked some questions about your medical health when you add it to your basket. Our pharmacist will check your consultation prior to despatch to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you.
