About:
Emla 5% Cream is a topical numbing anaesthetic used to temporarily numb the surface of the skin before minor procedures. Whether you're preparing for injections, blood tests, vaccinations, cosmetic treatments (like dermal fillers or laser hair removal), or minor skin procedures, Emla Cream helps minimise pain and discomfort.
Formulated with 5% Lidocaine and Prilocaine, Emla works by blocking nerve signals in the area it's applied, providing reliable local anaesthesia within 60 minutes.
This 5g tube is supplied without dressings, making it ideal for users who already have occlusive plasters or prefer flexibility in application.
How To Use:
Always follow the instructions provided in the patient information leaflet.
- Apply a thick layer of Emla Cream to the required area of clean, dry skin.
- Cover with an airtight dressing (not included) to allow the anaesthetic to take effect.
- Leave on the skin for at least 60 minutes (up to 5 hours depending on procedure).
- Remove dressing and wipe off excess cream just before the procedure.
