Covonia Night Time Formula Cough Relief is for nighttime relief of the symptoms of dry coughs and congestion from colds.
This cough syrup is designed to reduce the desire to cough, especially when suffering from a troublesome unproductive cough, as well as help to dry a runny nose and relieve nasal congestion.
Symptoms of a cold:
- Fever.
- Aches in the muscles.
- A blocked, or stuffy nose.
- Headache.
- Coughing.
- Sneezing.
Not all symptoms will be visible when having a cold. Therefore finding the right treatment to help you is important to get that relief as soon as possible.
Can this be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
This medicine is not to be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are looking for something to help with your symptoms please contact your doctor or our pharmacist.
Who is this suitable for?
Children and adults over the age of 12 who are needing relief from their dry cough.
How To Use:
Adults, the elderly and children over the age of 12: Take 3 x 5ml spoonful’s at bedtime. Repeat after 6 hours if needed.
Who is it not suitable for?
Do not use this medicine if:
- You are under the age of 12.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have an allergy to the ingredients listed below.
- Have shortage of breath, liver problems, asthma or a cough which produces phlegm.
Ingredients:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 6.65mg, Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 10mg, Ethanol, Glycerol (E422), Sorbitol (E420), Sodium Benzoate, Maltitol Liquid, Propylene Glycol.
Side effects:
Like all medicines Covonia Night Time can have side effects, although these don’t affect everyone.
Important side effects: if you get any of these side effects stop taking the medicine immediately and contact your doctor.
- Swelling of the lips, mouth, eyes or tongue.
- Difficulty breathing.
- Fits.
Warning:
Do not give to children under the age of 12.
Only to be used for night time coughs.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
