Covonia Dry & Tickly Cough Linctus works by soothing the throat which helps to reduce the effects of a cough and a sore throat.
What causes a dry, tickly cough?
A dry, tickly cough is usually caused by a cold or the flu, however these are some other factors which may have caused it:
- Smoking.
- Heartburn.
- Allergies (hay fever).
- Infections.
A cough is rarely a sign of something serious, a cough usually happens when something is irritating the throat.
Can this be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you should always seek medical advice from either your doctor or our pharmacist before taking any medicinal products.
Who is this suitable for?
Adults and children over the age of 1 who are suffering with a dry, tickly cough or sore throat.
How To Use:
Adults, the elderly and children over 12: Take 2 x 5ml spoonful’s when required up to a maximum of 4 times a day.
Children over 1 year: Take 1 x 5ml spoonful when required up to a maximum of 4 times a day.
Who is it not suitable for?
Do not take this medicine if:
- You’re diabetic.
- Have any allergies to the ingredients listed below.
- Under 1 years old.
Ingredients:
Glycerol 1.36g, Ethanol, Sucrose, Glucose, Propylene Glycol.
Side effects:
There are no known side effects from using this medicine as directed.
