Buttercup Original's non-drowsy formula contains squill liquid extract and capsicum tincture.
What are the symptoms of a common cold?
Cold symptoms will come on gradually and you may experience one or all of these symptoms:
- A blocked or runny nose.
- A sore throat.
- Headache.
- Muscle aches.
- Coughs.
- Sneezing.
- A raised temperature.
- Pressure in your ears and face.
- Loss of taste and smell.
Who is it suitable for?
Adults, the elderly and children over the age of 12 who are wanting relief from their coughs, colds and sore throats.
Who is it not suitable for?
Do not use Buttercup Original Syrup if:
- If you have any allergies to the ingredients listed below.
- If you are under the age of 12.
- If you are taking any medication known to interact with alcohol.
How To Use:
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls three times a day and at bedtime.
For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use.
DO NOT use for more than one week.
Can this be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Always speak with your doctor before taking any medicinal products.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients (per 5 ml):
Squill bulb extract (Drimia maritima (L.) Stearn.) – 3.1 µl (1:1) in 65% ethanol
Capsicum Oleoresin tincture (Capsicum annuum L. var. minimum) – 2.5 µl (1:10) in 96% ethanol
Other Ingredients: Partial invert syrup (sucrose, fructose, glucose), Acacia powder, caramel colour (E150), Sunset Yellow (E110), carmoisine (E122), ethanol, peppermint oil, clove oil, levomenthol, aniseed flavour, strong ginger tincture (ginger, ethanol, water), acetic acid, saccharin sodium, potassium sorbate, sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate (E219), sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217).
