About:

Anthisan Bite and Sting Relief belong to a group of medicines called antihistamines, which work by blocking the natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergy.

Ideal for treating pain, itching and inflammation caused by insect bites, stings and nettle rash.

 

How To Use:

Apply the cream directly to the affected area. Avoid contact with broken or cut skin, or on parts of the skin with eczema or sunburnt skin. Apply 2 or 3 times per day, for up to 3 days.

Ingredients:

Each 1g of cream contains 20mg of the active substance, mepyramine maleate. Also contains ceto-stearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 600 monostearate, castor oil, methyl hydroxybenzoate, foin coupe (fragrance), silicon antifoam and purified water.

Warning:

Do not use if you are allergic to mepyramine maleate, or any other ingredients. Do not use on eczema, cut, grazed or broken skin, sunburnt skin or large areas of skin.

Due to a lack of safety data, we cannot routinely recommend this product for use during pregnancy, but it could be considered ok if deemed essential. As with all medicines during pregnancy please only consider use if there are no other suitable alternatives.
