Head Office Support Trainee, Chesterfield(Closing Date 8th June 2012) We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, adaptable Head Office support ‘trainee’. The word trainee is perhaps misleading as you will already have basic office skills. The position is to work in Peak Pharmacy’s Chesterfield Head Office based on Sheepbridge Industrial Estate. The work will be varied, one minute you could be supporting one of our 50 branches on the telephone talking them through using our EPOS system, for the rest of the day you might be processing expenses or formatting price changes, opening and sorting the internal post and filing.
Much of the IT side of things is bespoke so training will be given but this presupposes you have a reasonable understanding of basic software such as Microsoft Office.
You will have a reasonable grade in your Maths and English GSCE’s. Numeracy and Literacy will be important for this role, you will be asked to complete a basic numeracy and literacy test prior to your interview.
Being a retail based operation it is sometimes necessary for our head office staff to visit our shops, we believe this is important for our Head Office workers to understand what they are asking and instructing our branches to do. Hence a driving licence will be desirable.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (with half an hour for lunch).
